Organisation
The Master School in Autonomous Systems and Intelligent Robots (AUSIR) is a two-year Master Programme that offers the opportunity to study in two different European countries, leading to a double degree and an EIT-labeled Certificate.

The programme has an integrated technical content (Technical major) and business content (Innovation & Entrepreneurship – I&E minor). Thanks to different events students will be involved in EIT Digital’s exclusive ecosystem: the Kick off, the Summer School and the Graduation Ceremony will take place in various European countries with students from other EITD Master’s programmes.
Students can choose their preferred Entry and a Exit point from a consortium of top European universities. A key component of the second year is an industry-based master’s thesis (30 ECTS).

Each university has a unique specialization area for the second year :
- Intelligent Transportation Systems and Robots (UNITN - Trento)
- Intelligent Software for Autonomous Systems (KTH - Stockholm)
- Intelligent Robots and Systems (AALTO - Helsinki)
- Sensing Big Data for Intelligent Robots (EURECOM - Sophia Antipolis)
- Autonomous Robots and Vehicles (BME - Budapest)
- Machine learning for Robotics (ELTE - Budapest)
- Autonomous Systems and Robotics for Smart Industry and Intelligent Mobility (UNIBO - Bologna)
- Aeronautical Robotics (POLIBA – Bari)
- Marine Robotics & Informatics (AEGEAN- Greece)
UNITN offers a specialisation covering modern applications of Autonomous Robotics Systems. The specialisation aims at offering the tools and the theoretical foundations to tackle the new challenges of the next generation of autonomous systems, ranging from distributed estimation to motion planning and vehicles control.
At the end of a curriculum involving the University of Trento as one of the two partner Universities, the graduated students will gain a Laurea Magistrale in Mechatronics Engineering (LM-33) and the equivalent double degree from the other visited University.
