Activities for Master's degrees students

Two days of orientation at high schools with presentation of the department's educational offerings and possible thesis project, or alternatively one day of orientation at high schools plus one day of assistance with visits to DII laboratories, or two days of assistance with visits to DII laboratories. Recognition of 1 CFU for students enrolled in the department's master's degree program.

Activities in collaboration with other Departments

In collaboratorion with the Department of Economics and Management within the EU project CIRCVET, DII offers the course Economia Circolare e Sostenibilità nell’Industria della Plastica. DII's students can obtain 3 credits by attending at least 18 hours out of 24, doing homeworks and drafting a paper.

Activities in collaboration with external entities

  • HIT: Proto Challenge, March 18 - end of May, 2025 - 3 cfu for all students
  • IMechE: Speak Out for Engineering (SOFE) - 1 cfu for students enrolled in the third year of the Bachelor's degree or in one of the Master's degree of the Department of Industrial Engineering who obtain at least 60 points

Other activities

E-AGLE Trento Racing Team is a Racing Team composed of only university students, whose goal is to join the Formula SAE International circuit, within which the most prestigious universities around the world compete. The worldwide competition is aimed at teams of university students, who compete at famous racetracks. The team structure is open to students from all departments of the University of Trento, depending on the specific skills needed for the team's activities.
DII students selected for the Formula SAE project can include the activity among the elective courses in their study plan.
