The lab focuses in investigating corrosion phenomena related to metallic materials for technological applications by using electrochemical techniques (in direct current, alternate current and localized techniques). The laboratory is characterizing protective coatings: metallic coatings, ceramic coatings and organic coatings, including innovative hybrid coatings for corrosion protection and other functional applications.
