Organisation

The Master School is a two-year master programme with nine technical Majors and a Minor in Innovation & Entrepreneurship. 17 European top universities, renowned researchers and leading businesses are in partnership with EIT Digital to provide cutting-edge ICT excellence in combination with innovation and entrepreneurship training, leading to a double degree and an EIT-labeled Certificate.
The students can select their favourite first (Entry) and second (Exit) year universities. The program has an integrated technical content (Technical major) and business content (Innovation & Entrepreneurship – I&E minor). The I&E minor part is shared between all programs (30 ECTS). An integral part of the second year is the Master’s thesis (30 ECTS).

If are you interestested in self-driving cars, robotics or artificial intelligence, the EIT Digital Masters School offers a two year master programme in Autonomous Systems [ https://masterschool.eitdigital.eu/programmes/aus/ ].
The double-degree programme is implemented jointly by the following seven leading European universities:

Each university has a unique specialization area in the Technical major, which allows you to select your own second year expert area:

  • Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (Aalto - Helsinki)
  • Intelligent Autonomous Systems (KTH - Stockholm)
  • Applications of Autonomous Systems (TU Berlin - Berlin)
  • Autonomous Robotic Systems (UNITN - Trento)
  • Sensing, Communicating and Processing Big Data for IoT (EURECOM - Sophia Antipolis)
  • Computer Science for Autonomous Driving (ELTE - Budapest) 

At the end of a curriculum involving the University of Trento as one of the two partner Universities, the graduated students will gain a Laurea Magistrale in Mechatronics Engineering and the equivalent double degree from the other visited University.

The admissions process to all the EIT Digital Master's programs is handled centrally by the EIT Digital Master School Office located in Stockholm.

The application process is divided into 2 periods:

Period 1: 16 November 2020 - 3 February 2021. Open to EU/EEA/CH/ Non-EU citizens  
Period 2: 17 February 2021 - 19 April 2021. Open to EU/EEA/CH citizens. Please note that all study trajectories may not be available during application period 2. Not recommended for applicants who require a visa.

Graduation

Entry students

Fill in the online application at the following link https://www5.unitn.it/Apply/en/MyUnitn/Home/18396/mos/ArgomTesi_DiiLM2020 for the approval of the dissertation topic of your thesis by the Teaching board. Please complete the area Note with the name of the programme (AUS) and the details of your status (entry/exit – accademic year).
You are required to submit the application at least 3 months in advance with respect to the graduation session.
After graduating from the Exit University, register for the graduation session at UNITN to obtain the degree from UNITN.
